Sewn Up: Summer 2026
My second make as a Cashmerette Club collaborator this summer - I had so much fun trying new things with this sew: my first sundress, a sweetheart v-neck, princess seams on the bodice, beautiful pocket construction, shirring on the back. I sewed the shorter view with wider straps and reduced the hem by 4.5 inches to make it more of a mini. It was such a satisfying sew, with the pleat lines matching up perfectly with the princess seams. The best compliment I can think of is that my sister saw my dress and immediately wanted to make her own. The second best one is that I had it on early one morning to take photos, and it was so comfortable I didn’t want to change out of it for work!
